Nathan Pimentel is a 2025 SS/RHP, 3B, OF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Bronx, NY. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, room to fill throughout and develop physically moving forward. Ran a 7.20 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front with two hands and a wide base, gets low moving to and working behind the ball, works around the bag with throws across diamond, accurate, will continue to refine moving forward. Also pitched, big side step moving into a leg lift up past belt, hip turn at top of delivery and gets tall on backside, longer arm action through the back working to a three-quarters release point. Fastball jumps out of hand, topped out at 78 mph with occasional life to arm side and attacked hitters. Upper body dominant release, can continue to implement additional lower half into drive, tends to slow on curveball at release, up to 64 mph with the pitch. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing at the plate, limited weight shift through lower half moving into contact. Longer swing path through the backside, shows quickness to hands, best when working on a linear plane, barrel starts deeper at beginning of swing.
