Marcus Olson is a 2024 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 225 lb. frame from Lacey, WA who attends Timberline. He has a large frame with a big build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.42 seconds. Primary left-handed pitcher that uses a belt high leg kick and has a slow, on balance motion. He throws with a short arm action from a 3/4 slot. His fastball has some arm side movement that keeps it away from right-handed hitters. HIs curveball has 1-7 shape and shows good depth. He turns his changeup over well, giving it depth. He showed the ability to throw all three pitches in the zone for strikes. Secondary first baseman that showed good movement for his size and a clean glove. He throws with a whippy arm and has good footwork through the process. Left-handed hitter that starts with a narrow base that is open and an upright stance. He has a longer swing with an uphill path and looks to do damage to the pull side.
