Primary catcher, recorded an above-average pop time, showing sound actions. Low in crouch, gains ground with carry to his throws. Firm on-line throws to bag, athletic traits show. Switch hitter, wide base with high back elbow and high hand set. Deeper toe tap timing. Strong hands and timing from a lofted path. Good pull-side contact, comes off hard at impact. Mirrors setup from both sides with bat speed and strength. Stays in-sync with both halves. Can really develop. Good student.
