Xander Sutton is a 2025 C/3B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Rock Hill, SC who attends Legion Collegiate Academy. Medium frame with good projection and the type of athletic strength you look for in a catcher. Primary position C, working from a high and offset stance in workouts. Presented glove in good position and showed softness as he worked it around the zone. Solid mechanics to this point, putting feet in good position for throws. Appropriate arm action for the position leading to velocity up to 66 mph and 2.20 best pop time. Looked comfortable in game action. RHH using an open stance and turned in front side, transferring weight well through contact. Displayed hand quickness and emerging power when he pulled the ball in the air towards LCF gap. Will become more consistently on the barrel as strength is added and mechanics are simplified. Collected several hits in game action, reading pitches well and putting the good part of bat to the ball. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
