Ethan Diehl is a 2023 RHP/1B, 2B with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Hanover, PA who attends New Oxford. Medium frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.98 seconds. Primary pitcher, compact arm stroke through the back with online hook, lands collapsed through short stride with some misdirection, fastball worked 67-72 mph with occasional life, landed curveball for strikes with gradual depth, did a good job of being in the zone. Hits from upright and even stance, drops hands into load, length to stroke, steeper entry path, shows contact skills, will improve with strength. Took infield reps and shows solid hands, halts momentum to field, shows smoothness to hands, clocked up to 72 mph on throws.
