Josh Johnson is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Loganville, GA who attends Walnut Grove. Medium and slender frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.06 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield with young actions, whip to his arm, developing hands out front, fields the baseball while bending at the waist, topped out at 75 mph across the diamond, will gain carry with more momentum carried into his throws. Right-handed hitter, sets up at the plate with an open stance and a low hand set, meets the baseball out in front with looseness to his hands and path, young bat speed but the barrel skills certainly play, middle to pull approach, will continue to unlock more pop as he matures. Good student.
