Drew Bodnar is a 2024 1B/RHP with a 6-4 230 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Mountain Brook. Extra big and strong build. Left handed hitter, hits from an exaggerated open and narrow start with a low and tight hand load, hangs his front leg on his close, pull approach, can get extended through contact better and more consistently, flashes his strength and power but can get more consistent in his approach. 7.83 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, tends to play straight up and can bend his knees better fielding, makes accurate soft throws. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
