Jacob Fink is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Clarks Summit, PA who attends Abington Heights. Medium athletic build with good present strength. 6.73 runner in the sixty. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a tight hand load and a short shift into contact, turns his hips hard to drive his swing, stays short and compact to the ball and has some strength in his hands, handled the barrel well with consistent line drive contact. Speed plays well in the outfield and has the chance for plus range, over the top arm slot with a long and loose arm action and developing carry to his throws, makes accurate throws. Also pitched, has the same over the top arm slot and a simple and repeatable delivery, throws strikes with all his pitches. Mid-70's fastball, topped out in the upper 70's early, has some feel for his change up and curveball and gets good plane to his pitches. Good athlete who should keep improving. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
