2023 Virginia Indoor Showcase (Feb. 26)
Reed Little is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Falls Church, VA who attends Riverbend. Taller and lean current build with the frame to build on with time. Moves good and shows solid overall athleticism. Primary position OF, using long strides and quick first step to get into angles. Aggressive to the ball. Clean midline transfer with glove out front working into full and quick arm stroke. Generated solid and accurate throws up to 84 mph to bases. Has a real chance to be plus defender long term. Secondary RHP, working from stretch only and coming set with significant hip hinge. True submarine delivery working with a full inline arm path and really drops down low to release point. FB command needs to go a touch and showed arm side run peaking at 72 mph. SL has frisbee type action with really tough break for hitters to handle. Good spin profile up to 2.300+ rpms. With refined control, could be a real nice bullpen arm at next level. RHH working with an even stance, small stride and turned in front shoulder. Rotational mechanics with significant lift in the bat path. Shows solid bat speed and when on time the ball jumped off the barrel. Intriguing skill package and good follow in the short term. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
