Angelo Castanos is a 2021 SS/ with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Lawrence, MA who attends Lawrence. Medium to Large Frame with an sturdy build showing some room to fill as well down the road. Ran a 7.66 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, worked well around the baseball with a confidence showing. Stays behind the baseball well as he gathers it cleanly out front. Soft hands with glove proving to play well. Clean actions with a good arm as he threw it 84 MPH across the diamond. Righthanded Hitter, starting from an even base with high hands. Hands get deep and then he shows a longer swing path. Linear swing path as he looks to spray it back up the middle. Good Student.
