Christopher Woodside is a 2022 C/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Woodinville, WA who attends Woodinville. Strong athletic build with some physical projection remaining. 7.36 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has good athletic quickness to his actions, shifts well and receives the ball cleanly, some raw arm strength which could improve with adjustments to his footwork throwing. Also plays third base and showed well there, has soft hands with good feel for the glove out front, moves his athletic lower half well from side to side. Right handed hitter, simple load and approach from a straight narrow stance, quiet approach, swings hard with an uphill swing plane and shows good lift and power potential. Very good student. Named to the Sunshine West Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
