William Russell is a 2027 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-5 165 lb. frame from Evans, GA who attends Evans. Very long and lean frame with huge projection. Ran a 7.02 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, developing coordination with very long limbs but good idea to work through it, clean transfers and some arm strength up to 82 mph already. Also worked out at first base, fields it cleanly and showed longer arm stroke to release, will hold his own there. Pitches as well, stretch only and lands on slide, good arm speed and sinks the fastball a good bit, solid velocity ceiling as he matures. Right-handed hitter, very spread stance, stays compact through the zone with some quickness and coordination for the long arms, works to lift it and has good power upside, developing barrel accuracy but things to project on.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
