Bryce Hochman is a 2027 C/2B/3B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Providence Forge, VA who attends New Kent. Medium frame with present strength already showing. Ran a 7.83 sixty yard dash. Primary catcher, stays low through the ball with a longer arm action and release. Gets some downhill plane on throws that led to consistent accuracy on every rep. Repeatable operation that projects. Took reps at first, arm is the primary tool with strong throws across the diamond. Moved well and showed ability to range laterally with consistency to stay balanced. Right handed hitter, used an even stance with a late leg lift. Hands stayed by the chest with a high back elbow, got uphill some with the barrel path that created some extension out front. Lot of things to project on with a good feel behind the dish right now that makes for an interesting follow moving forward. Solid showing in game with a couple of knocks, gunned a runner at second behind the dish and swiped a couple of bags on the paths. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
