Westin Chen is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, OF with a 5-6 127 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Walton. Recorded a 7.39 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a young frame and slender build. Has a feel for the leather to both sides with some agility moving moving around. Throws across the diamond from multiple arm slots at 75 mph. Glove work transfers to the outfield working through the ball with clean one-hand gather and quicker release on throws to the bases at 76 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher working from the stretch with a quick belt-high lift and medium arm swing to a high 3/4 arm slot. Quick arm using his athleticism to get down the slope with fastball up to 77mph working the outer half of the plate and breaking ball around 64 mph. Flashed a changeup at 68 mph for a three-pitch mix. Right-handed hitter with an even base and high hands setup in the box. Short direct path through the zone from a high back elbow slot. Controls the barrel with middle-field approach and added impact as he matures into his young frame. Excellent student. Named to the 2022 National Underclass Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
