2021 Fall Academic Showcase
Sebastian Alvarado Roldan is a 2022 OF/2B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Guatemala City, GU who attends American School of Guatemala. He showed good speed with a 6.86 second sixty. A primary outfielder with a smaller build. In the outfield he worked aggressively to the ball fielding it off his left foot with a quick transfer into a short arm action showing some arm strength with accurate throws. On the infield he showed some twitchy range with feel for the glove going to his right and making accurate throws with game like actions. Right-handed hitter, starts with a slight open base using a high leg lift trigger to get back to even as he creates good separation. He gets good drive out of the lower half impacting the ball best from the middle of the field to the pull side. Very good student. Named to the 2021 Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
