Jacob Madrid is a 2026 C/RHP/3B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Burbank, CA who attends Notre Dame. Outstanding young athletic build with tons of physical projection and good present strength. Shows his athleticism very well on defense both behind the plate and at third base, blocks easily and effortlessly as a catcher, comes out of his crouch well, has the arm strength to make on-line throws to second base. Showed first step quickness in games at third base with range and made accurate throws. 8.13 runner in the sixty. Right handed hitter, has a balanced stance and approach at the plate with good bat speed, showed his power well in batting practice and was more middle of the field oriented in the games, has an accurate barrel and gets some jump off the barrel with lots more to come as he gets stronger. Also took a turn on the mound, uses his lower half well in his mechanics and stays compact with his upper body, will get off line at times but makes adjustments. Fastball topped out at 77 mph with good plane to the plate. Named to the 14U Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
