Samuel Batherny Nova is a 2020 RHP with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Oviedo, FL. Medium athletic build with good present strength. High 3/4's to over the top arm slot, arm is fast and loose, well controlled delivery that can develop more lower half drive to the plate. Steady mid-80's fastball, didn't lose any velocity over four innings, mostly straight with occasional running life, throws strikes with his fastball. Curveball is an outstanding pitch, tunneled well with his fastball with huge 12/6 true downer depth, real eye level changer, showed outstanding feel for locating the pitch considering it's size and shape. Dominant appearance, struck out 11 hitters and allowed 2 pop ups in four innings. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
