Connor Waiting is a 2022 OF/2B, UT with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Seaford, NY who attends Island Trees. Recorded a 5.33 second forty-yard dash. The primary outfielder cleanly fields the ball out front with good drive through the ball and a quick transfer into a smooth arm action as he accurately throws the ball to the bases at a recorded 84 mph. Waiting has a quick first step on the ball. The righthanded hitter steps to the plate with a wide and slightly open stance, high hands, and a high back elbow. He loads the backside well utilizing good hip rotation to generate good bat speed and good barrel control creating a line drive swing and a heavy barrel in a gap-to-gap approach. Great student.
