Logan Kulling is a 2023 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Midlothian, TX who attends Midlothian Heritage. Recorded a 7.67 second sixty yard dash time. Long and lanky frame with plenty of room to fill, projects well going forward. Primary first baseman with choppy footwork, will benefit from getting into fielding position earlier. Fields out front with two hands, showed a clean glove and made all the plays during his round. Has an idea of his footwork around the bag. Also worked out in the outfield, fields the ball off his front foot and shows long actions to and through the ball. Uphill thrower with developing arm strength, will improve as he grows and gets stronger. Secondary left-handed pitcher, throws from a lower slot with developing arm speed. Fastball has some east to west action to it, will occasionally drop down and throw from a submarine arm slot. Flashed a loose curveball with some depth, was deceptive at times in this look. Left-handed hitter with a wide stance and an extremely deep hand set, utilizes a leg lift trigger. Swings on a level path and has some feel for creating separation. Loose barrel that gets lost at times, will improve as he develops the strength to handle the barrel more effectively. Great student.
