Cole Clark is a 2022 RHP/MIF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Burbank, CA who attends Notre Dame. Medium frame with plenty of room to fill out as he develops. Primary pitcher, has a shorter arm action from a high three-quarters arm slot. Stays tall throughout his motion and displays violence to his drop and drive actions. 78-83 mph fastball feels heavy out of the hand and gets in on righties well. High 11-to-5 shaped breaking ball flashes good bite and depth. Plus bite down when located down in the zone. Turns over a 69 mph change up as well. Good potential in his stuff overall. In the infield, glove works out in front well and his throws across are solid when he takes an extra step to gather. Moves well up the middle. At the plate, uses a wide and conventional looking stance with a slight hunch over his front side. Lunges with his linear weight shift slightly in the box. Flat barrel plane through the zone hunts the baseball out in front. Good student in the classroom as well.
