Uses a side saddle setup behind the plate. Showcased quick, athletic actions out of crouch. Gains a fair amount of ground into a quick ball transfer. Creates accurate, on-line carry consistently. Recorded a 1.87 second pop time. Worked out at first base. Uses athleticism to move well around the bag. Displayed a quick transfer and release on double feeds. Threw 82 mph across the diamond. Can provide defensive value at the position. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an even base stance into a small toe tap timing mechanism. Swings with plenty of intent. Shows a slightly lofted path with advanced bat speed present. Hands stay strong at contact. Has quality gap to gap power present with more coming down the line. Right-handed hitter. Stays athletic and under control down the mound using drop and drive mechanics. Has quick arm speed present into a high 3/4 slot release. Fastball sat 80-83 mph with life through the zone. Goes right at hitter with the offering. Flashed an upper-60’s curveball with short, tiling action. Can spin it well and create bite when used. Good student. Named to the Southwest Prospect Top Prospect List.
