Decarlo Delancy is a 2023 OF/ with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Nassau, NW, Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary outfielder with deliberate footwork while rounding and closing to the baseball. Funnels off to side and showed developing fluidity while working through exchange. Maintains momentum to target and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Throws produced occasional on line carry to the bag topping at 71 mph. Right handed hitter with a balanced, slightly open stance and simple front side trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Clean hand path to baseball with a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Flashed some fluidity with the ability to repeat path and plane. Primarily looked to stay behind the baseball at contact and work to the middle of the field between the gaps.
