Jaiden Samuels is a 2024 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Miramar, FL who attends American Heritage. Large, broad shouldered frame with present strength to frame. Ran an 8.68 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, shows softness to hands, fields the ball closer to body, works into a full arm action with a high three-quarters release, extra step into release, moves well on feet. Also pitched, side step moving into a high leg lift, gets down the mound well and remains direct and on line towards the plate. Pitched exclusively off of fastball, worked around the zone and topped out at 65 mph with short sinking life. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide and slightly open stance with a medium hand set; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Compact swing path and keeps hands inside the ball, creates lift to path. Incorporates strength into swing, gets to front side early with weight shift, shows ability to work to all fields.
