Jalen Gellings is a 2022 SS/RHP/C with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Eden, WI who attends Campbellsport. Long limbed, strong build with some projection left. Primary infielder that showed well on the mound at this event. Developing defensive skill set that shows decent ability to transfer quickly and funnel the baseball. As a right handed pitcher; displayed an elongated, over-the-top delivery. Aggressive in the strike zone with long, quick arm action and ability to work both sides of the plate with fastball, topped at 82 mph. Mixed in a potentially plus breaking ball that showed 11/5 downer action when on top. Like the potential on the mound.
Right handed hitter; some noise to his operation but shows ability to make adjustments to pitch and uses lower half well. Potential power upside with swing refinement.
