2022 Spring Midwest Workout Showcase (April 22)
Caleb Even is a 2024 OF/RHP/C with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Xavier. He has a medium frame with a lean and athletic room and plenty of room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 6.71 seconds. Primary outfielder that moves well to the ball. He fields the ball out in front of his body and off his front foot. He does a nice job of transferring the ball cleanly and making accurate throws with his quick arm. Right-handed hitter that starts in a squatty and open stance with a high back elbow. He has a shorter swing that is slightly uphill. He has good bat speed through the zone and looks to hit the ball in the air and in the gaps. He showed the ability to be consistently on time and make hard contact with the ball out in front of the plate. Named to the Spring Midwest Workout Showcase (April 22) Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
