Andrew Mahoney is a 2026 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Novi, MI who attends Detroit Catholic Central. Big and strong athletic build. Works from a full delivery with a medium length arm action to a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball worked in the low 80's and topped out at 83 mph, gets some ride up in the zone, mostly straight in the middle. Curveball was his best pitch this outing, gets good spin and lands the pitch consistently with good shape. Developing change up, kills the spin well but tends to be pretty straight. Very young 2026 who will keep getting better as he gets older. 7.86 runner in the sixty, plays first base when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall stance with a hanging leg raise load and some drift into his swing, rotational extended swing with a line drive swing plane. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
