2022 Florida Prospect Showcase
Ian Resler is a 2024 OF/1B with a 5-9 163 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends American Heritage. Medium frame. Ran a 7.16 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who fields the ball off the front foot, extending the arm, making the pick, and then working through the throw. Throws from a lower slot and got the ball to the bag on target, keeping throws on line. A right-handed hitter who starts with a wider base, hands set high, and back elbow up in the batters' box. He was able to lift the ball to both sides of the field during his round of BP. Showed off good feel for the barrel, producing solid contact. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
