Frank Fernandez is a 2023 RHP/3B, MIF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Belen Jesuit Prep. Recorded an 8.19 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher works out of the stretch with a belt high leg lift and a long arm circle at separation as he delivers the ball out of a three-quarter slot to the plate alongside his fastball topping 79 mph. Fernandez generates good swings and misses with the breaking ball by keeping it low in the zone with sharp, tight rotation. Secondary third baseman shows developing footwork is he funnels the ball out front to make the plays while accurately throwing across the diamond at 74 mph. Right-handed hitter steps of plate with a wide, slightly open stance, swings with a knee to knee lift, and strides to the ball generating contact with a lofted swing as he works the ball gap-to-gap while developing backspin. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
