Jacob Trivette is a 2022 C/ with a 6-1 220 lb. frame from Greensboro, NC who attends Walter Hines Page. Medium build, has some athleticism to connect to his tools. Posted a 7.99 in the 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, durable frame fits the part. Started in a high set with limited footwork. Has loose arm actions, and chopped actions after he receives. Could tighten up the mechanics to advance his game. Right handed hitter, starts open showing minimal lower half involved. All upper half creating a rotational swing. Front side leaks early and loses the barrel. Flashed good present strength, would like to see where his swing goes with the big legs engaged. Much more to show for as he progresses. Excellent student.
