Ben Wendell is a 2022 C/RHP, 3B, MIF, OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Alexander Hamilton. Strong build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.90 seconds. Primary catcher, has a side saddle set up with a quick transition displayed accurate throws. Threw a 2.07 down to second base, could improve pop time if he gains more moment on his throws. Also worked out in the infield, showed smooth hands with a quick transition and accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance, hands sit even with his shoulder slightly wrapping his bat. Has a simple level swing with a linear hand path with good bat speed. Showed pull side pop. Excellent student.
