Justin Barry-Smith is a 2021 RHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends The Woodlands. Medium young build. Cross body delivery with a double hand separation, medium length arm action with a 3/4's arm slot, some effort on release. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, gets good sinking action at times and threw ground balls, works quickly and is aggressive with his fastball. Slider is his best pitch, has power and good tilt. Tends to slow his arm on his curveball but gets good depth on the pitch. Straight change is a bit firm compared to his fastball. Filled up the zone nicely and pitched to contact. Good student.
