Zane McLendon is a 2024 OF/1B, 2B, 3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Clinton, SC who attends Clinton. Compact athletic frame with current strength in both halves that is well proportioned. Ran a 7.09 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, waits back on it some in the process, quicker exchange to release, quick footwork when he gets it going, longer full arm stroke with some accuracy and carry to the bag, shows athletic traits. Secondary infielder, profiles to second base at present, good hands out front with solid lateral coordination, made the plays cleanly, showed nicely here. Right-handed hitter, square base with quick knee lift trigger, high hands and back elbow set, tighter to the body coming through to it with some line drive impact, hands stay very high and tight, stronger for the size, some bat speed present with a chance to create more power with separation. Solid overall athlete with projectable traits across the diamond. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
