Liam Best is a 2021 3B/RHP, 1B, 2B, SS, UT with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Potomac Falls, VA who attends Potomac Falls. Large frame with strong build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.07 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with leg lift trigger, gets into lower half well, strength stands out when square, whole-field approach, good jump off the bat when on time, projects well. Worked out in the infield, bends at waist, plays tall, deeper funnel, fields clean, balance to footwork, clocked up to 75 mph on throws. Pitched as well, works from the stretch, longer arm stroke through the back, methodical tempo, fastball worked 79-82 mph with good life to the arm side, showed solid curveball with depth as well, did a nice job of throwing strikes. Very good student.
