Dayron Del Sol is a 2021 C/RHP, SS with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends Naples HS. Recorded a 7.37 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with broad shoulders, athleticism, and room to fill out. Primary catcher with a deeper crouch and an upright release. Short arm stroke with online throws. Arm strength plays well and will improve with better direction through the lower half. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a long arm action, high three-quarters arm slot, and a deliberate delivery. Fastball topped out at 77 mph with some sink to the pitch. Online landing with good extension and showed a 12/6 breaking ball with some depth to the pitch. Switch hitter who graded out best from the left side. High hand set, high back elbow, and has some strength to his wrists. Generates impact out in front with a smooth barrel plane. Keeps the barrel in the hitting zone for a long time with projectable bat speed. Good student. Verbal commitment to Florida Southwestern State College.
