2021 Pittsburgh Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Brendan Cecka is a 2022 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Burke, VA who attends Paul VI Catholic. Medium, lean build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.58 seconds. Primary SS that showed off his arm by touching 76 MPH on his throws across the diamond but his arm plays up from that because of how quick his release is. At the plate he hits out of an even base setup. Showed a flat bat path through the hitting zone to go along with his all fields approach. Was consistently on time with his lower half throughout his swings. Great student.
