Kaden Hathaway is a 2025 3B/RHP with a 6-3 178 lb. frame from Washington, PA who attends Trinity. Long and lanky build with some present strength and the potential for lots more, very projectable body in all ways. 6.94 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has an over the top arm slot with some carry on his throws, can change his slots on his throws, some idea on his footwork rounding the ball, tends to stab at the ball with his glove. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide even base with a barrel wrap load, long and loose swing with easy bat speed and extension, ball comes off the barrel well when he's on time and squared up, projects power in the future. Graded out higher as a pitcher at this event. Has a loose and whippy high 3/4's arm action with good extension out front, works from a low effort delivery with good balance. Fastball sat in the mid-80's and came out of his hand easy and quickly. Threw both a curveball and slider and showed nice ability to spin the ball, curveball was tight with 11/5 bite, slider had late horizontal life. Four pitch arsenal with a promising change up with hard late fade on occasional. Will be very interesting to follow as a two-way prospect. Very good student. Named to the Western Pennsylvania Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
