Ryan Taran is a 2026 3B/RHP, 1B, IF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Sugar Hill, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Medium, athletic build with strength in the lower half. 7.24 runner in the 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, upright setup with high hands and a squared base, longer swing with good whip to the barrel, flashed ability to get the barrel out front and impact to the pull-side. Comes off easy with strength to both gaps. Primary third baseman, solid actions getting to grounders, fundamental footwork and works around the baseball, two hand funnel into the body, over the top slot. Good arm strength across the diamond, recorded accurate throws up to 80 mph with ability to change slot. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full windup, side steps into a belt high lift, arm works to a high three-quarters release point. Developing arm speed, fastball heavy diet in the low-70s, topping out at 75 mph (1491 RPM). Excellent student.
