Jonathon Breeling is a 2007 1B/3B/P with a 5'11'', 190 lb. frame from Atlanta GA, who attends North Springs HS. He has a strong, stout build with good present strength, especially in his upper body. Breeling's best tool is his bat. He hits from a wide stance and takes a long, aggressive power type of swing, using his hips well to help generate power. Breeling showed some pop in batting practice and had quality game at bats. He hit the ball hard to the middle of the field and showed bat head skills. Breeling shows some raw arm strength in the infield but his hands and mobility will limit him to first base in the future. He also pitched a bit and threw 77-81 with some running action from a deliberate 3/4's delivery. Breeling did a good job keeping the ball down and throwing strikes. His 67 mph curveball is loose. Breeling is a very good student.
