Michael Dierckman is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Fort Wayne, IN who attends Carroll. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. 6.90 runner in the sixty. Shows good arm strength and a smooth arm action in the outfield, can improve his footwork through the ball, fields outside his body, gets into his lower half well throwing. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with limited lower half shift, upper body arm driven swing, swings hard with a line drive swing plane and pull side contact, can make adjustments to get into his lower half more to drive his swing. Also pitched, works from a full wind up and short stride to the plate. Fastball topped out at 78 mph with plenty of late running action. Also threw a short slurve type breaking ball in the upper 70's. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
