Alexander Moreno is a 2026 RHP/C, 3B, SS, OF with a 5-10 162 lb. frame from Garland, TX who attends Sachse. Lean frame with strength in the build and present athleticism. Ran a 7.78 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher who worked up to 82 mph on his fastball on the mound. He has a quiet delivery but a quick arm. Circling back, he spun the fastball well, also seeing the pitch get great life to it. He was able to induce swings and misses with the pitch, pairing it with a curveball around 70 mph that had a sharp & late bite to it. He sequenced well and cruised through his outing. Worked out in the outfield, fielding the ball off to the side, bringing it to his chest, and working through the throw, using his long levers to get some strength behind it. Kept the throws low on a line and accurate to third base and home. Also took a smooth round of infield reps, getting the ball across the diamond accurately and on target. He made all the plays with athleticism present. Right-handed hitter who sets up with the hands set high with slightly open feet in the batters' box. He worked to all fields during his round of BP showing off some whip to his swing. He's able to lift the ball, especially the pull-side.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
