Jack O'Shea is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Spring Lake, NJ who attends Manasquan. Out of a medium broad build with strength in the lower half present, O'Shea worked off the mound efficiently with compact mechanics and an over the top arm slot. He created solid push off from the backside to work downhill, topping out at 77 mph with a sharp 11-5 curve also in the arsenal that he could throw on command and manipulate shape of. From his secondary 1B spot, O'Shea displayed clean glove work and range with sound footwork to pair. Offensively, the lefty started from an open stance with strong compact hands to pound the pullside of the field. He swung with line drive intent and should see power potential continue to increase. Ran a 7.44 sixty yard dash. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
