Christopher Alvarez is a 2022 3B/MIF, OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Southwest Miami. Medium and lean frame, athletic with room to fill and some time to do so. Ran a 7.12 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, worked out in the infield with quick footwork moving to the baseball, hands work out in front with smoothness and feel at the position, comes through the ball and carries some weight to his target, releases from a low 3/4 arm slot across the diamond, average arm strength that will improve with maturity and reps. Right-handed hitter, sets up at the plate with a narrow stance, strides into contact and bars his hands at load, shows some quickness to his hands, creates an uphill swing path and will continue to improve juice with refinement to plane.
