Joshua Wimbley is a 2025 OF/RHP, C, MIF with a 5-8 132 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Eagle's Landing. Features a medium build with room to add. Ran a 6.90 60-yard dash. Worked out on the infield and in the outfield. Showcased an aggressive approach in the outfield with the ability to create momentum into the catchpoint. Caught the ball cleanly throughout. More arm strength should come down the line. Quick feet played well on the dirt. Showcased the ability to move laterally well with athletic actions throughout. Still developing soft glove actions. Threw 77 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an even base stance with a high hand setup. Displays a simple, compact swing with hand speed present. Approach stays through the middle of the field. Stays on time consistently, allowing for quality barrel accuracy. More power will come as the frame adds more strength. Right-handed pitcher. Displayed a fairly clean arm circle with athleticism that plays down the mound. Delivery is fairly high effort with intent throughout. Fastball sat 70-74 mph. Pairs it with a mid-60’s curveball with developing shape. Still developing consistent command of both offerings. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
