Avery Belgrave is a 2024 OF with a 6-1 172 lb. frame from Hamilton, ON who attends St Thomas More Catholic Secondary School. Medium frame with lean, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.84 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with high back elbow and hand set, tends to drift onto front side but is bringing lower half with authority, turns the barrel well and attacks out front, consistent contact skills with twitchy hands, will improve as he gains foundation of strength. Worked out in the outfield, moves well, fields cleanly off to side while maintaining momentum, quick transfer with balance throughout actions, clocked up to 74 mph on throws. Whole game projects.
