Jack Woodard is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Carmel, IN who attends Westfield. Recorded a 7.55 second sixty-yard dash time. Smaller, compact frame with room to add strength. Primary middle-infielder with athletic actions throughout the fielding process, while showing good lateral range to both sides and a clean funnel out in front. Shows ability to work downhill to field, staying low before working into a lower arm slot to throw. Recorded arm strength up to 72 across the diamond in drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and small hover trigger. Contact oriented swing with good rhythm, short inside hand path and consistent bat-to-ball skills. Middle-of-the field approach with ability to turn the barrel on the inner-half with good extension out in front. Sound fundamental skill set that will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
