Caden Overbey is a 2022 C/RHP/OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Indianapolis, IN who attends Carmel. Solid athletic build with good present strength for his age. 7.73 runner in the sixty. Has young actions behind the plate defensively with his footwork and throwing mechanics, showed solid arm strength with a long and loose arm action that can be shortened. Also played the outfield and showed his raw arm strength well there, too. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance with a complicated lower half coil and load, long and loose rotational swing, has a good swing plane when he's on time and the ability to turn on the ball. Also pitched, fastball up to 81 mph. Good student.
