Colin Kerrigan is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 6-6 230 lb. frame from Nashville, TN who attends Montgomery Bell Academy. Primary left-handed pitcher with a big frame and strong build. Modified stretch setup from the third base side of the slab. Lower hands raised to chest with quick belt-high lift to a high arm slot getting down the slope. Uses his big frame to create down angle with his high slot running the fastball up to 84 mph (1747 RPM). Two secondary offerings with a curveball at 66 mph (2108 RPM) and shorter slider at 69 mph (1923 RPM). Gets run on the fastball down in the zone and solid depth on curveball with 12/6 action. Secondary first baseman with solid two-hand gather out front and feel around the bag moving around. Left-handed hitter with a crouched stance and open base. Knee-to-knee trigger lift with separation of hands into slot. Rotational upper-half with pull side approach in the box. Impact is to the pull side with present strength in big frame. Outstanding student with a 4.25 GPA.
