2021 Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Ryan Kim is a 2022 RHP/3B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO who attends Mountain Vista. Medium build. Primary RHP who worked out of the stretch and utilized a high leg lift to create leverage down the slope. His FB sat 79-84 mph and it flashed some slight arm side run. His CB is a deep 12/6 breaker while his CH had slight fading action. In the infield, his throws across the diamond topped out at 78 mph. Showed smooth and fluid hands and his arm plays up from its pure strength due to a quick release. At the plate he showed nice rhythm throughout pre-pitch and throughout the swing. He showed a flat bat path through the zone which goes nicely with his solid bat speed. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
