Samford Halcomb is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Lean build with wiry strength. Recorded a 6.91 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, read some tough hops well and worked through the ball nicely. Throws from a higher slot up to 81 mph. Also worked out on the mound, showed three pitches with developing overall feel. Up to 80 mph with both occasional cut and arm side run. Mixed in a curveball at 64 mph and flashed changeup at 72 mph with some nice fade. Left-handed hitter and really shines with the bat. Explosive and quick hands with some real feel for the barrel. Showed lots of impact and comfort to all fields. Really fires the backside hard and results in some sneaky juice for his size. Very athletic overall player that possesses some quality tools. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine Southeast Top Prospect List.
