Cody Lee is a 2023 C/RHP/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Palmetto, GA who attends Landmark Christian. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Very quick twitch athlete, runs exceptionally well for a catcher a 6.63 in the sixty, undoubtedly can play virtually any position on the field with his athleticism and tools. Very aggressive in his actions behind the plate, uses his quickness well in blocking pitches, active throwing behind runners and makes accurate throws, good arm strength and release. Also played the outfield and could be a standout centerfielder out there, fundamentally sound actions and plenty of young arm strength and carry. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread open stance, loads his hands over the plate in front of his chest, has a short and quick swing with good present bat speed, ball comes off the barrel well. Also pitched, high energy delivery with a high 3/4's arm slot, lands open with his front foot and tends to spin off on release. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, slider was his best secondary pitch with full arm speed and nice tight rotation. All around athlete with some skills who is just going to keep improving as he physically matures. Good student. Named to the Summer Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
